1. What Is high alkaline water?
Alkaline water is less acidic than regular tap water. It is rich in alkalizing compounds such as calcium, potassium, silica, magnesium and bicarbonate. Most of the high pH water you see on the shelves has been modified (had ingredients added). Our water has a naturally high alkalinity. Eagle Spirit Water holds these beneficial properties through transport and the bottling process.
Full Definition of pHA measure of acidity and alkalinity of a solution that is a number on a scale on which a value of 7 represents neutrality and lower numbers indicate increasing acidity and higher numbers increasing alkalinity and on which each unit of change represents a tenfold change in acidity or alkalinity and that is the negative logarithm of the effective hydrogen-ion concentration or hydrogen-ion activity in gram equivalents per liter of the solution; also : the condition represented by a pH number
Origin and Etymology of ph

4. Is it safe to drink water from plastic bottles?
It depends on the type of plastic. Because Polyepthylene terephthalate (PET) has no centerline porosity, the possibilty of fluid absorption and leakage is virtually eliminated.
Look for a triangle with PET or PETE on the bottom of the bottle. You will find it on Eagle Spirit Spring Water bottles.

7. What is the difference between natural alkaline water and alkaline water from the machines?
My research has found that they are certainly not the same. Natural alkaline water usually has a pH of about 8. The machines can produce much higher
which some claim is not healthy. Natural spring water is high in healthy minerals such as calcium and magnesium. I am told that artificially alkaline
waters from machines mix small amounts of toxic metals (platinum or titanium). As always, we encourage you to do your own research. You can download

9. Who is Mary "Sanapia" Poafpybitty?
The Last Eagle DoctorSanapia (1885-1979) was a Comanche medicine woman whose healing practices were documented by graduate student David E. Jones in the early 1970s. Mary encouraged her followers to drink from David's Spring.
Sanapia did not begin practicing as a doctor until after she reached menopause. She had received her training from her mother and maternal uncle while still a young girl. The Comanche believed spiritual power could be manifested from a supernatural being through dreams. Sanapia's mother and maternal uncle were both Comanche shamans or eagle doctors.
Mary was born in the spring of 1985 in a tepee near Fort Sill Oklahoma. Her father was David Poafpybitty, thus the name of the spring. Eagle doctors source their power through the eagle.
Transmission of PowerThe eagle doctor's powers were believed to be concentrated in the doctor's hands and mouth. In the first phase of power transmission, Sanapia's mother transferred live coals into her daughters' hand without burning her. Then her mother drew two eagle feathers across Sanipia's mouth. In the second phase, her mother inserted an "eagle egg" into Sanapia's stomach. In the next phase, Sanapia acquired her medicine song. The culmination of Sanapia's training as an eagle doctor was her participation in a vision quest—four days and nights of solitary meditation.
